Welcome Dr Yap

Welcome to our new intern from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Dr Zen Lee Yap.

Zen will be with us for the 10 weeks and is available for appointments at the Kadina & Wallaroo Surgery's from the 21st of January until the 31st of March.

 

Farewell Dr Sauchelli

It is with sadness we announce that Dr Maria Sauchelli left the Kadina Medical Associates on the 15th of January.

Due to family circumstances and Maria's husband wanting to further his career they have needed to make this decision.

The Kadina Medical Associates thank Maria for her services over the past 7 years and wish Maria, Danny and Paolo all the best for the future.

Dr Morris, President of RDASA

Dr Graham Morris has been elected the new President of the Rural Doctors Association of South Australia, after spending 12 years with the association as the Upper Yorke Peninsula regional representative. After previously being nominated by the former President, Dr Morris was elected to the position at the RDASA annual general meeting on Saturday the 8th of November. Dr Morris says as President, his highest priority will be to ensure the association keeps the Department of Health honest with regards to the new Country Health Plan. He also looks to increase support of new and international rural doctors.

 

New Staff

The Kadina Medical Associates would like to welcome two new staff to the Kadina Clinic.

Cathy Window started working at the Kadina clinic in October and will be working 1 - 2 days a week. Those with a good memory may remember Cathy worked at the old Kadina clinic over 20 years ago.

Claire Taylor also began in October and is working as a registered nurse at the Kadina clinic. Claire previously worked at the Wallaroo hospital.

 

Dr Wood, 25 Years of Rural Medicine

At the Rural Doctors Association of South Australia Annual General Meeting on Saturday the 8th of November Dr Tim Wood was awarded for his 25 years of service in rural medicine.

 

August 2008

Dr Junejo Returning

Doctor Fazil Junejo was previously here from January 2006 until September 2007. Dr Junejo is a fully qualified GP and GP anaesthetist.

He will be resuming consulting at both our Kadina and Wallaroo branches as well as undertaking anaesthetics in theatre at Wallaroo hospital. He will also be on call after hours for anaesthetics.

We welcome Dr Junejo back and wish him a long and happy stay in the Copper Triangle.

 

Dr Wood, Return To Obstetrics

Dr Wood has undertaken a refresher at the Women's and Children's Hospital and will be resuming obstetrics as of Monday the 11th of August 2008.

Welcome Dr Frauenfelder

Welcome to our current Intern Doctor to the Kadina Medical Associates.

Dr Claire Frauenfelder will be with us for 10 weeks untill 25th of August and will be consulting at both the Kadina & Wallaroo Surgery's.
